What Does Your Brand Represent?

Centel Media, www.centelmedia.com, centelmedia.com Online Reputation Management, Online Reputation Repair, Remove Rip Off Reports
Your brand speaks for you when you are not in the room, but if you could be a fly on the wall what do you think people would say about you and your company?

As a budding business owner, you had dreams of building your brand from the ground up and hope that the impact it had would help change the world. You envisioned your brand standing for something reputable always on the positive side of any review or comment. But before you get to that level of success, many factors will play a major part in helping your brand.

As a business owner you will come to find that your plan might not fit into what the public wants or needs at the moment, so it is up to you to carve out your niche and build off of that. Good business owners are able to adapt to their surroundings and become great ones. Not only this, but they never forget what they want their brand to represent. They continue to work on incorporating that goal into their businesses.

What is often an overlooked representation of your brand is the team that you have working for you, they are an important representation of your brand. It is important for your employees to maintain a level of professionalism that will never call into question the direction your business is headed or the decisions made. What they do has an impact on how the company is viewed among the public, from hourly wage workers to salaried CEOs keeping a clean nose, this is the the best way to represent the brand.

There does come a time when your company is faced with some dilemmas that may put your business in serious jeopardy. Making the right decision can be the difference between continuing to operate your business or not having a business the next day. It is important to consider all options when faced with this type of problem because there is so much on the line and what you think you can do by yourself maybe too much for you to handle alone.

The next best thing to do is to hire professional help that will provide you with the tools necessary to protect your brand while you continue operating your business. If you find yourself with a negative online reputation, I would suggest working with a company like Centel Media™ to help rebuild your image. The best way to handle any discrepancy is to face it head on when consumers see that their opinion of your brand will slowly change. You showed that you not only have integrity, but that the customer is your number one priority. This is not only comforting to them, but for you as well. After all, when you first started, you wanted your brand to help change the world. Now that your customers see you are committed to that, the only place left to go is up.

We see good businesses as big companies but a lot goes into maintaining a great reputation. That process begins early in the building process, starting with you, the owner.

That Dangerous Send Button.

Centel Media, www.centelmedia.com, centelmedia.com Online Reputation Management, Online Reputation Repair, Remove Rip Off Reports
Former NFL head coach Herm Edwards has a saying that goes ''Once you press send you can't take it back." This statement is 100 percent true but the severity of the reaction to the post, tweet, or message depends on who sends it.

If you or I send something, nine times out of 10 it will get little to no coverage. But, when someone with a little notoriety does, he or she opens the floodgates because the opinions and thought will be rolling in. Among the "star" club, that send button has a more damaging effect on athletes, in my opinion. I say that because when you go on certain sites, they have articles there that try and decipher an athletes tweet and make it out to be something it's not.

I always say, as great as social media is, if you are not careful it can ruin you in ways you never thought possible. And, professional athletes are not the only ones getting caught up in the web. Amateur athletes are too. Many of them are under 21 and think that this won't effect them when it is time to sign that contract, but it does. Even if they move on and achieve monumental success, there will always be someone trying to bring that fateful message back into the spotlight.

In my opinion there is a simple way to avoid this, and I've mentioned this before, it is in the best interest of everyone who participates in social media activity to stay as far away from personal messages and posts as you can. At times, athletes have posted things on some very touchy topics just trying to simply express themselves, which they have the right to do. A massive dust storm comes at them and most of the time these athletes do not see it coming; they are left to defend themselves.

When this does happen? The team that they are playing for is forced to go into PR overdrive to save face, some of it is for the player but a majority of it is for the team. Now that a player's reputation has taken a hit what does he or she do? If he or she chooses not to do anything, then I think this person is doing more damage and is jeopardizing his earning potential for future contracts and endorsements. The best thing he can do is to rebuild his reputation through community outreach and also repair his online reputation by having his activity monitored.

Now the latter may seem a bit over the top, but given the hard work put in the first time, it will be twice as hard to repair the second time. So, having a personal team or a professional firm assist you is a great investment.

For some of us, the send button means nothing. To others, it can cost you millions of dollars in the long run. Always keep in mind you can't take posts back. Sometimes it is better not to send it at all.

Making your customers and fans feel like they are a part of the company is a sure fire way to keep the relationship between you strong and long lasting.

The strength of a great company starts with the relationship it has with its customers. If the relationship is strong then the company should have no trouble maintaining a high level of productivity as well as popularity. As great of a scenario as this may seem in some cases it is not reality, but a goal for all companies to reach eventually or should be a goal.

Having a strong relationship with your customers should be something all companies strive for, after all it is those same customers that allow you to continue to operate and continue to do business. The way that business is now being conducted is totally different from how it was done some 20 years ago. Most of the change can be attributed to the advancement of technology and the rise of Social Media.

With technology now in the equation it now gives businesses a chance to not only expand by putting their business online now and not having to solely rely on newspapers and radio ads, but it gave owners a chance to give their customers insider access to the inner workers of the company. The purpose of doing something like this is to further ingratiate themselves with customers and to increase their visibility to a much broader audience.

It takes strategic planning to give just enough to your fans without revealing too much or giving too little. Many times businesses have made the mistake of releasing information that was not meant to be released just yet and have found themselves in hot water among of their board members or the law. It is important that you make sure you get clearance before you release anything and make sure the people you put in charge of your account keeps it strictly professional this cannot be stressed enough.

Social Media can also be use for your online Reputation Management, if you find your business embroiled in some type of controversy and are under attack from negative reviews, Social Media is a great tool to use to help you regain your positive reputation back. Social Media is a tool that can open up a world of opportunity for you and your business and connect you with fans that you didn't even know you had.

The endless opportunities that Social Media offers can help establish your business all over the world. Use it to your advantage.

For a business person, blogging shows the knowledge you have, and demonstrates that you can about the product that you are selling. It is well known that the more passion and desire you have towards something the easier it is for other people to connect with you, and thus want your business.

An individual on the other hand, will be able to build his/her professional resume by blogging why you would want to be part of a certain company, or why you would an extraordinary employee. You want to build your professional name any way you can. There should never be a moment that you should feel like your business can't be helped and is destined to fail. There are many options that are available for businesses big, small, domestic or international.

Considering all the odds you have faced to get your business off the ground and up and running, you are one of the lucky ones. If you are fortunate enough to keep operating after 5 years or so, then you are truly lucky and now in good company. The odds of most businesses surviving after 5 years is slim to none, but if you are one of the fortunate few to do so, then count your blessings.

There comes a point in time when you might feel stuck in place and that there is nothing that you can do to bring your business out of the monotony. This can very well be the end for your business because you might feel uninspired. This could start a drop off of the quality of work that you once produced so proudly. To avoid feeling like this, it is best you find ways to change your work environment or expand your business by maybe opening up another store or creating a website and getting active on social media.

The hard work that went into opening up your first store might be too much, so the next best thing to do is to create a website for your company. By creating a website you are expanding virtually. You are now reaching an audience in another country--something you couldn't do with just one store. This expansion will not only net you more profit in the long run but it improves your brand's reputation. Because you are now able to do business in countries other than your own, you now have increased your visibility. This puts you and your company in the good graces of all your customers.

While expanding and creating a website may provide much financial success, it is a lot of hard work. It can take a lot out of you and away from the business you are running. However, there is an ace in the hole and now is the perfect time to use it. You chose to hire Centel Media™ to help maintain your online reputation as well as help create your website, domain name and web designCentel Media™ also helps with your presence on social media, which is just another added benefit. With newfound inspiration and the assistance from a well established, professional company, the feeling of being stuck should be in the past. You now have the opportunity to make an even bigger impact with your business.

Expanding your business online is just as good as opening up a physical store. It allows you to do business without borders which is how all business should be done.

Taking Advantage

Centel Media, www.centelmedia.com, centelmedia.com Online Reputation Management, Online Reputation Repair, Remove Rip Off Reports
There is a saying that goes "any press is good press" and while that may be correct in some instances we all can agree that it is better to be on the positive side of that press. But if your name is in the media and is circulating pretty fast there is opportunity there to take advantage of this free publicity and make the most of it.

Now, in no way am I suggesting that you go out and do something bad or unethical that will put your company in jeopardy just to get some media coverage. But, if you do happen to get some media coverage it would be in your best interest to try and flip it if it is bad, or enhance your brand's reputation even more if it is good.

The mark of a good business is one that can seize opportunity the moment it appears and use what they already have to build off of that. Your business might have been struggling initially to take off and there are no resources left to advertise or promote, but by some chance you got the opportunity to host an event that puts your business into the public eye. Now you have consistent business and you got some free publicity as a result.

While your business will most definitely take a hit if it gains a negative reputation, this can in some ways work in your favor. If your company was once a reliable and trustworthy business that hit a few rough patches, the question is, can you recover? You now you will have all eyes on you watching your every move. The decisions you make can and will answer those questions. Depending on the severity of your dilemma, you will have several options available to help you.

Because we live in such a tech savvy world, I believe it would be in your best interest to improve your online reputation first. That is where the majority of the doubt and skepticism will come from. By fixing that first, you are not only changing the opinion of your company, but you show are listening to the public and taking what they are saying to heart. The company that once fell is now showing resiliency. You can bank on profits going up and attracting more business due to you taking the bad press you were getting and making it positive.

A business that can take advantage of any opportunity is built to last and is going to separate itself from its competitors. While you don't want to have bad press all the time, you should have team on hand ready to take care of it. Or, you can hire a firm like Centel Media™ that will improve your online reputation and ensure it stays on the positive side.

Taking advantage of an opportunity when it looks like there isn't one will provide a strong foundation that will keep your business at the top for many years.
