Republican Rand Paul Antagonizes the Clintons

Republican Rand Paul reignites the old Monica Lewinsky affair by demanding that the Democrats return any money raised by “predator” Bill Clinton, creating negative press for his potential 2016 presidential opponent, Hillary Clinton.

Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul has rehashed the old Monica Lewinsky scandal by recently claiming that the money received by the Democratic Party from Bill Clinton’s fundraising should be returned immediately.  Rand Paul also recently publically dubbed Bill Clinton a “sexual predator” for his relationship with White House intern Monica Lewinsky during his presidency. Paul’s bitter public comments against the Clintons go back to 2010 and his harsh criticism is making front page headlines, resulting in a diminished online reputation for all involved.  Everyone, not just politicians, should be concerned and proactive about protecting their onlinereputation, and consult an online reputation management company such as Centel Media™.  Centel Media™ offers many brand and reputation management services such as Negative Video Suppression  and Press Releases for both public figures, individuals, and companies alike.

Paul is claiming that by keeping any money raised by Bill Clinton, the Democrats are effectively squashing women’s rights, the very cause they claim to support.  According to Paul, the GOP has no right to take a position on women’s rights if they continue to take money raised by Clinton. Clinton has always been prolific and effective at raising funds for his political party; an asset to the causes he believes in.  While the exact amount of money the Clintons have raised for their political party is unknown, it has been estimated to be over an astounding two billion dollars.

Paul’s targeting of such political firehouses seems to be more of a strategic move rather than the fact that he actually believes in supporting women’s rights. If the GOP did follow Rand Paul’s advice and stopped receiving support from Bill Clinton, they would suffer severe loss of not only monetary support, but strategic power as well.  Hillary Clinton’s 2016 potential presidential candidacy is bound to be affected by all this negative press.

Many public figures, such as Senator Claire McCaskill, are jumping to the defense of the Clintons’.  McCaskill has stated that it is unfair of Paul to use the Clinton scandal against the entire Democratic Party and their stance on women’s rights, especially since he is basing his accusations on something that happened so many years ago. All of this bitter infighting just shows how bad negative imagery can ruin a civil conversation.

It’s Time to Tweet a Redesign

Twitter users may have noticed a change to their profiles recently as the website unveiled its new look. The popular social networking site which inhabits around 645,750,000 users has completely left its comfort zone. Now the site slightly resembles Facebook by adopting a tweet stream and focusing more on photos. Those who designed the website have added a new category for users to keep track of photos and videos along with their lists, favorites, and followers. Twitter developers have also added an option for the stream to show not only "Tweets" but "Tweets and replies" for every user, which was a luxury reserved previously for verified members only.

It’s not the first time that Twitter has tested out certain adjustments and used a large user base for feedback. With the success of newer sites such as Instagram, it’s a great business move for Twitter to spice up their website, which hasn't changed very much lately. The once number one social networking site has recently admitted to having a major decline in user growth due to its lack of user friendliness. Also the decline has forced Twitter to take a major cut in the stock department. Revamping their website design could actually help save the social network from crashing to the ground.

Pennsylvania Nurse Gets Assisted Suicide Case Dismissed

The assisted suicide case against a Pennsylvania nurse is dismissed, reflecting the growing leniency and tolerance of assisted suicide in a hospice situation.

People feel passionately, one way or another, about controversial subjects. Nothing anybody says will change how they feel.  Whether it is a stance on abortion, polygamy, or euthanasia, the media is bound to respond in an uproar. This is why it is essential to take control of your online reputation when involved in a high-profile case.  Centel Media™, the top online reputation company, offers a multitude of services which includes Negative Article Suppression, a product designed to help anyone involved in such an unfortunate, media-ridden situation.
Take the recent case of a Pennsylvania nurse who was accused of handing her 94-year-old father a bottle of morphine and helping him commit suicide. Assisted suicide is illegal in every state but Oregon, Washington, Montana, Vermont and New Mexico. The nurse, Barbara Mancini, admitted to handing him the vial but in an attempt to relieve his pain, not help him end his life.

The story behind Joseph Yourshaw’s death is rather sad. It highlights the importance of hospice care and the rights of the dying.  Yourshaw was peacefully living at home under hospice care when he became unresponsive. Against the families wishes, the hospice company called 911 and he was taken to a hospital and revived. Instead of dying peacefully at home as he had wished, Yourshaw was rudely brought back into a life full of pain. His life ended in the hospital.

In the end, the judge dismissed the case against the nurse, as there was not enough evidence to prove she had meant to end his life.  In a broader sense, this verdict perhaps reflecting the changing view of people on assisted suicide. It seems to becoming gradually more and more accepted as an ethical practice.  Choosing to end your life in a dignified manner, in a place and time of your choosing, should be a basic human right.  It is when people help others achieve these goals that things get complicated.

The family should have been mourning the loss of a loved one, not facing a legal battle. Don’t let the media denote how personal life experiences affect your online reputation.  While the case of the nurse and her dying father are a rare case, they highlight the importance of taking control of online reputation. Let the pros at Centel Media keep your reputation where it deserves to be.

Paula Deen Scores Investment Deal

Paula Deen shows her continuing success by securing a $100 million dollar backing of her new company, Paula Deen Ventures.  Deen shows that anyone can come back from a damaged reputation by handling things the correct way.

Remember Paula Deen, the jolly southern Mrs. Claus-look-alike?   Deen, famous for her delicious but fat-ridden and extremely unhealthy meals, revealed that she had been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes three years ago.  People were offended at her continuing support of unhealthy foods to the public, despite her own health issues. Deen was instantly publicly shunned and ridiculed, and subsequently lost her show on the Food Network and millions in endorsement deals.  Despite these setbacks,  Paula Deen has managed to show the world that she can come back from this reputation disaster.  Online reputation managment companies like  Centel Media™ offer a plethora of services such as Press Releases and Negative Article Suppression which could help Deen from falling back down into a negative reputation spiral.

For Paula, her reputation was damaged by the fact that she was secretly battling health scares directly related to eating unhealthy foods. This was not good news for a cook whose claim to fame includes creating a donut burger. To make it even worse,  Deen was a paid spokeswoman for a drug company that sold insulin and only revealed her disease when she was able to profit from it. People saw her actions as devious and deceitful.

Recently, Paula has appeared in the news as she has garnered a $75 to $100 million dollar investment into her new company, Paula Deen Ventures.  She has also has immediate plans to open a store in Buffalo, New York. Not to mention her magazine is enjoying immense success. While Deen lost millions in endorsements after her notorious screw-ups, she doesn’t seem to have let it hold her back.  She has 1.21 million twitter followers, and thousands of likes on her Facebook page.

Her tactics and business skills have proven that she is much more than a successful brand.   While Paula Deen has managed to keep going despite the horrendous media scrutiny she has suffered, it is important to remember that online reputation management is a continuous process.  She of all people should know the fickle, frail world of reputation can change instantly. Everyone, especially those in the public eye, should take note of how Paula hasn’t let her public relation disaster get her down. She continued on with determination and hard work; she has proven that it is possible to recover from even the worst of reputations.

Coca-Cola’s Counters SodaStream with Press Release

Top online reputation management company,  Centel Media™ offers their clients press release services to assist them in furthering their business. Coca Cola, the biggest beverage maker recognizes the importance ofs press releases as well as they announced one of their most innovative projects to date, via press release.

Coca Cola, the biggest beverage company in the world announced via press release that they will be entering the rapidly growing at-home market. On Wednesday, Coca Cola bought 10 percent in “Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc.”

The power move is a result of the competitive decisions and marketing made by their Israeli competition “SodaStream”. SodaStream has been attempting to make their at-home carbonation machines a regular household and environmentally friendly product, but Coca Cola isn’t letting this consumer-base go easy. SodaStream machines are only in about 1 percent of U.S. homes, but Coca Cola’s press release has sent their rival’s stock plummeting even lower.

Coca Cola’s press release found itself on all the major news distributing sites, channels and articles. After millions of people viewed SodaStream’s super bowl ad, creating that press release was one of the best moves Coca-Cola could’ve made. This is a great example as to why the top online reputation management company,  Centel Media™ offers their clients press release services. Press releases do a great job of strengthening your company’s position in its market because they are created to inform the public about a particular product or service. Not utilizing press releases can leave your company vulnerable to the attacks of negative articles written by random individuals who have no authority to represent your business.

Coca Cola clearly recognized the fact that there is a lot of competition in the world and people who are willing to post anything negative about your business to secure their spot. Press releases as well as other articles written by professional sources are usually one of the first links that clients click on when searching a business and  Centel Media™ wants to make their clients aware of that too. Press releases normally are used for two purposes which is to suppress negative material written about your business or product and to promote your product or services to potential and existing customers.

The promotion that press releases offer the public is beneficial because it helps gather potential customers and keeps the old ones in the loop. This was exactly what Coca Cola accomplished and what Centel Media™ promises to do for their clients.  Centel Media™ team of professionals flood search engines with press releases customized and specifically created for your business with the intent of giving your business the best opportunity to succeed.

Drunk Teen Driver Gets No Jail Time

A drunk Texas teen driver receives no jail time despite killing four people, and the media and community responds with intense public outcry at his lack of punishment.

Recently, a tragedy has rekindled public outcry after a young drunk driver received no jail time for his actions, which resulted in the death of four people and seriously injuring two others.  This Texan teen, with a blood alcohol three times the legal limit of an adult, drove his truck off the side off the road.  Because of his lack of serious punishment, both the judge and the teen in this case have suffered from an intense media backlash, and could benefit from reputation management services.   Centel Media™, a top online reputation management company, offers services such as Negative Article Suppression.  This would help anybody negatively affected by the outcome of this case and control the amount of negative information out there on the internet.

The reason this case has caught so much attention was that the public found his defense deplorable.  The word “affluenza” was used; the teen came from an affluent family and was taught that his wealth could get him out of any situation, and he would never have to deal with the consequences of his behaviors.  Without knowledge of all facts in this case, it is hard to come to a logical conclusion without emotions getting in the way. Either way, the media has had a field day blowing up information to justify how they feel about the boy’s punishment.

According to multiple sources, not only did the teen appear to be have no remorse over the incident, but he got off with a relatively low punishment. He was sent to an expensive rehab facility and will spend the next ten years on probation. It is understandable that the public outcry at this meager punishment, considering he ended the lives of four people and damaged countless more. This is not counting the immeasurable sorrow of the family and friends of the poor victims who were killed.

There is a reason this case has incited so much passion and anger from people; it is not a black and white case. There is no easy or correct answer, but one thing we can count on is the fact that the media is enjoying the drama.  Of all the times to consider an online management reputation company, this is one of them.  The shadows of this case will follow the individuals involved  for the rest of their lives .Centel Media™ can help.
