Drunk Teen Driver Gets No Jail Time

A drunk Texas teen driver receives no jail time despite killing four people, and the media and community responds with intense public outcry at his lack of punishment.

Recently, a tragedy has rekindled public outcry after a young drunk driver received no jail time for his actions, which resulted in the death of four people and seriously injuring two others.  This Texan teen, with a blood alcohol three times the legal limit of an adult, drove his truck off the side off the road.  Because of his lack of serious punishment, both the judge and the teen in this case have suffered from an intense media backlash, and could benefit from reputation management services.   Centel Media™, a top online reputation management company, offers services such as Negative Article Suppression.  This would help anybody negatively affected by the outcome of this case and control the amount of negative information out there on the internet.

The reason this case has caught so much attention was that the public found his defense deplorable.  The word “affluenza” was used; the teen came from an affluent family and was taught that his wealth could get him out of any situation, and he would never have to deal with the consequences of his behaviors.  Without knowledge of all facts in this case, it is hard to come to a logical conclusion without emotions getting in the way. Either way, the media has had a field day blowing up information to justify how they feel about the boy’s punishment.

According to multiple sources, not only did the teen appear to be have no remorse over the incident, but he got off with a relatively low punishment. He was sent to an expensive rehab facility and will spend the next ten years on probation. It is understandable that the public outcry at this meager punishment, considering he ended the lives of four people and damaged countless more. This is not counting the immeasurable sorrow of the family and friends of the poor victims who were killed.

There is a reason this case has incited so much passion and anger from people; it is not a black and white case. There is no easy or correct answer, but one thing we can count on is the fact that the media is enjoying the drama.  Of all the times to consider an online management reputation company, this is one of them.  The shadows of this case will follow the individuals involved  for the rest of their lives .Centel Media™ can help.

Miraculous Castaway's Story; Truth or Tall-tale?

A castaway, who claims to have floated on the Pacific for thirteen months, faces public doubt as to the truth of his story.

Recently, a man named Jose Salvador Alvarenga washed ashore on an atoll, claiming to have drifted at sea for thirteen months.  While the media is questioning the validity of his story, his account has not been proved false.  In these types of cases it is important to remember that just questioning someone’s story will put suspicion into people’s minds, and many will assume his he is a fake. In the mind of the public, people are not innocent until proven guilty; they are guilty until proven innocent. This is where companies like Centel Media™, a top reputation management company, can help.  Centel Media™ offers multiple reputation control services, all useful to someone undergoing such overwhelming public scrutiny.

Just like from the pages of Robinson Crusoe, his story seemed too romantic and far-fetched to be true, but the facts are backing up his claims.  According to Alvarenga, he survived on turtles, fish and birds as he floated from Mexico to the Marshall Islands, until washing ashore on a small island, bearded and weak. He traveled a whopping 6,500 miles; more than many people do in a lifetime, and lived to tell his fantastic tale.

In an ironic twist, Alvarenga’s story has some odd similarities to a story written by Joe Kissack.  His characters survived on the same foods, traveled the same path, and the name of Kissack’s production company matches the name of the teen that Alvarenga claimed died earlier in his adventure. People are also claiming that while he appeared thin, he was not emaciated nor did he appear to be sunburned as one would expect from surviving at sea for so long. While these facts may all be an eerie coincidence, they are enough to put doubt into the mind of the public.

After seeming to be in reasonable enough shape to go home, Alvarenga’s health took a turn for the worse.  He ended up being rehospitalized due to dehydration and a lack of vitamins, which seem to back up his story.  Hopefully, he is able to recover from his journey so he can share even more of his story. Whether his story is a tall-tale or not, it is an interesting one, and people captivated by him deserve to know the truth, while Alvarenga deserves control of his online reputation.

Facebook vs Princeton: Is Your Online Reputation In Good Hands?

Centel Media
Facebook and Princeton had a small sparring match, but what does the university’s findings mean for social media users?

The format for building a successful business has changed over the years. Now more than ever the Internet has become detrimental to the progress of any business. Your online credibility is as good enough as your word.Centel Media™ understands such a significant asset as the internet, which is why we offer wonderful onlin ereputation management services.  Just to prove our point, the infamous Facebook suffered a mighty blow to their online reputation a few days ago, due to a study conducted by Princeton University.
The study conducted claims that Facebook could lose over 80% of its users by 2017. The data collected also seems to suggest that Facebook has already reached its peak of popularity and is now entering a decline. Other researchers and even Facebook themselves have admitted that they are in fact losing younger users to other social networking sites. Facebook officially responded by playfully claiming that they used the same study to find out that Princeton University’s enrollment rate is expected to decrease to half of its current enrollment by 2018. Facebook even took it a step further by saying that by 2021 Princeton will only be a mere memory among other colleges.
Even though Facebook’s response can be seen as a humorous yet good attempt to discredit the study conducted by Princeton University, it doesn’t hide the fact that their online reputation took a major hit. Social media users want to be involved with a site that is popular and generates a lot of interaction instead of one that is rumored to be heading on the path to irrelevance. The effects of these attacks on your online reputation can be quick and costly; a lot of businesses don’t even see it coming. We at Centel Media™ believe that everyone’sonline reputation should be safe and secured. Our firm has designed and implemented three simple steps in which I like to call Triple S, that help any client restore the damage that was done to their onlinereputation.
The three S’s are study, strategize and succeed.  Centel Media™ will study the nature of the attacks against the client, strategize to change negative search results, and succeed by opening the floodgates for positive information regarding the client. This is something that all businesses and individuals need to take care of before it’s too late.

Philip Seymour Hoffman's Final Legacy

Philip Seymour Hoffman, a much beloved and award winning actor, dies to a heroin overdose, and the media explodes in a contradiction of sorrow and contempt for his passing.

Once again, we’ve watched in sorrow as another supremely talented and much loved celebrity has succumbed to the depths of drug addition.  Philip Seymour Hoffman, an oscar winning actor, was found dead in his apartment from an apparent heroin overdose. He was only 46, recently acting in such films as Capote and The Hunger Games, and should have been been enjoying his success.  But he wasn’t.  Any celebrity death resulting from drug addiction erupts in controversy across the internet; responses to his death have varied from anger at glorifying a drug user to honoring his life and work. Centel Media™, an online reputationmanagement company, works hard to offer services such as Negative Article Suppression that would allow Hoffman’s true legacy to shine through.  Centel Media™ offers these types of services to anyone who needs them, high profile celebrity, businesses, or anyone concerned with online reputation and caters it’s strategies depending on individual needs.

Perhaps the death of such a well-know person and the amount of people his work has affected will raise some awareness about the devastating and uncontrollable effects of drug use.  It also gives insight into what makes people truly happy.  Hoffman had achieved such rare success: a successful acting career in Hollywood built out of pure talent and hard work.  He has taught us that achieving personal happiness isn’t solely about reaching a satisfying career goal or having a certain amount of fame and money.  He obviously faced some personal demons that nobody can judge him for, and tried to find his happiness through drug use.

Philip Seymour Hoffman should be remembered for what he accomplished during his lifetime, not the way that he died. His innate ability to act and become not just a character, but an entire being, has made his passing that much more sorrowful and left the world reeling at such a senseless loss of talent. Online reputation management through Centel Media™ would enable him to be seen for his talents and what he has given to the world, not his own personal sufferings, because that isn’t who he was.  He was a wonderful actor and gave much in his lifetime.  He deserves to be remembered that way, and his family and loved ones deserve his legacy to honored in a respectable and kind fashion.

Reputation Management and Celebrity Blunders

Reputation Management is even more important for young high profile celebrities like Justin Bieber, and considering his recent DUI arrest, he should consider the reputation management services of Centel Media.

Part of growing up is making stupid decisions and regretting them later.  Everyone regrets things they have done as teenagers, but hopefully they were just embarrassing incidents and not life changing events.   It gets complicated when you are, for example, someone like Justin Bieber.  You make a stupid decision, deciding to go drinking and driving.  You get caught.  And suddenly your face is plastered all over the internet and instead of being the “it” boy, you are the “it” boy of public humiliation.  Companies that deal in online reputation management, like Centel Media™ offer services such as Negative Article Suppression, which would help help bury the many blogs and news articles getting on the hate-Bieber bandwagon.

In the light of such an over-the-top celebrity, people forget that this is an actual person.  He does things like poop.  He likes girls. Or boys. Whatever.  He leaves his dirty laundry out.  He even runs out of toilet paper.  It’s not fair that he gets judged more harshly and his bad deeds are known across the globe, but it is his reality.

Celebrity at such a young age has such a huge impact on personal growth.  Adolescence is such a trying time, and throwing worldwide recognition and public scrutiny complicates matters beyond a measurable number. This is why it is important that he has a supportive team of professionals at his service, to help him navigate his life in the public eye.

One of the professional services that people forget about is online reputationmanagement.  It’s popular to make fun of the most recent celebrity mishap, and Bieber's recent one was a rather large one.  It’s front page news not only to popular celebrity blogs, but pretty much every reputable news website, ever. Why? Because people are interested. They like a juicy story.  This really isn’t fair to Bieber, as 900,000 other people are arrested for drinking and driving every year.

But what really isn’t fair is the fact that everyday, an average of twenty-eight people die as a result of intoxicated drivers. Sorry, dude. I’m sorry that you made such a bad decision, and haven’t had an effective support system to guide you in the right direction, but I am glad you were caught.  Nobody has the right to put others at risk in such a preventable, senseless way.

The Air Force May Need a Parachute

The Air Force has found itself falling quickly to the ground due to an expanding scandal over a proficiency test. Negative articles are pouring in about the incident, giving a vivid example of the importance of having a parachute like negative article suppression to any business.

Earlier this month the Air Force found itself starting off the year in one of its biggest scandals yet. Just about every news source in both print and online have reported that multiple members of the Air Force were revealed to have been involved some way or directly cheated on a proficiency test for intercontinental missile launch officers. The test was conducted at the Global Strike Command at Malmstrom Air Force base in Montana and the number of the people involved seems to increase as time progresses.
Initially reports surfaced which stated that around 34 Air Force officers were implemented in the scandal, and as time past that number more than tripled to tally around 70. Now as the story unravels and more evidence is being revealed, numbers have shot to an astonishing 92 officers who may be involved in the scandal. Negative articles about not only the incident at hand but the Air Force itself, has been exploding all over the Internet.
In the midst of this scandal CNN reported that Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James says she still feels “confident in the safety, reliability, and effectiveness of the nuclear mission.” However, James’s vote of confidence may have fallen on deaf ears amongst the shouts of the mass amount of negative articles flooding the media. Even the mighty United States Air Force is no match for negative articles. They may seem like a small problem for any business but they can actually damage even the most stable companies.
Top online reputation management company, Centel Media™ understands the importance of handling these kinds of issues immediately.  Negative article suppression is just one of the services our company offers to help repair or maintain your online reputation. Centel Media™ fights for you to be able to control your company’s image in the intimidating playing field of the Internet and negative article suppression is one of tools that helps them do that.
Our team of creative writers and professionals suppress negative articles by flooding the Internet with a massive amount of positive articles regarding your company.  Because of our actions, the results pages on mega search engines such as Google will display the type of information a prospective client should see regarding a business in light, not darkness. These results include your company’s official website along with any articles you may have created to assist your image instead of harming it. Your onlinereputation should be handled accurately by professionals who care about the success of your business.

A&E's Duck Dynasty Fiasco

Centel MediaLove them or hate them, the Duck Dynasty and network A&E certainly have their hands full at the moment.

Homophobic and racist slurs? Check. Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the family of popular show Duck Dynasty was seen making these disparaging remarks targeting gays and African Americans, which led to the show's network host A&E suspending the man from the program. However, they probably didn't anticipate the reaction from the family members, who stood by Robertson and as of this writing don't want to move forward without him. This has put A&E in something of a trap, as they will stand to lose a lot if they cancel the show. At the same time, they as a network will lose credibility if they leave these remarks unchallenged, as they face the fury of civil rights and LGBT organizations.  Roberton has probably unwittingly single handedly made this a calamity for both himself and A&E. This especially affects the latter, who has become a target of negative criticism from conservatives and liberals alike.

From a modern perspective, what Robertson said was wrong. In the United States, there is supposed to be nothing wrong with speaking your mind. However, as a public figure (not to mention a believer of the Christian faith), saying things like this is just begging for people to dislike him due to intolerance because people know who he is. If his goal was to state his mind with the intention of getting people angry at him, he did his job proper.  And if he was thinking like a businessman, he would never have said the statements that he did.

A&E is at fault here as well for putting themselves in this position. If they knew anything about the Duck Dynasty family, they would know that they're very close knit and an attack on one of them would be considered an attack on all. Their decision to single out the only offender is probably something they're kicking themselves in the head right now. This has severely damaged their reputation in the eyes of both conservative and liberal thinkers alike.

Judging by Robertson's comments, he doesn't seem to mind offending a particular group of people. A&E, however, will probably be trying to fix this PR disaster. If you or someone you know is in a bit of a pickle like A&E is right now, Centel Media™ could very well be the answer to helping one recover from a mess like this one. As the leading onlinereputation management company, we have many products designed to counter negative publicity, maintain a positive image, and to make sure that this will never happen again to you or your company. Our products include negative suppression of critical articles, images, videos, reviews, the creation of social media web pages and optimization efforts for those pages, incorporating appealing designs of websites, publishing positive press releases, and the optimization of website traffic through Google AdWords and domain name registration. Don't let PR disasters ruin your organization. Let us help you fix the problem so you can get back on your feet.

The Army Is Coming!

Centel Media
Centel Media, the top online reputation management companies offers a variety of services such as, social media optimization. Social media optimization can help prevent and rebuild after incidents such as the hacking of CNN’s social media accounts.

It seems as though everyone from all races, ages, and area codes are affiliated with some kind of social media site. The medium has even become an important aspect of business affairs as well. The last thing anyone would want is for their social media site to be compromised for any reason. For example, the Cable News Network or CNN as it’s commonly referred to as is one of the leading  news channels in today’s society. Last Thursday, some of CNN’s social media accounts were hacked. Making sure your social media page is properly optimized is one of the ways we can deal with this issue.
The accounts that were affected include CNN’s main facebook account, CNN politics facebook account, and both their main and security clearance Twitter pages. Other accounts that were compromised were blogs for The Lead, Political Ticker, Crossfire, Security Clearance, and The Situation Room. The hackers who invaded the site claimed to be apart of a Syrian Electronic Army. This group consists of pro-Syrian hackers who aggressively target major activists and news organizations. The Syrian Electronic Army has previously claimed to be responsible for last year’s 20-hour blackout of the New York Times website.
The comments that the hackers posted on CNN’s twitter account said “The Syrian Electronic Army was here...Stop lying...All your reports are fake!” Another comment posted by the group on CNN’s twitter account explained their reasoning for hacking which was to retaliate against “viciously lying reporting aimed at prolonging the suffering in Syria.” The comments were immediately handled by CNN but not without possibly causing some damage to their online reputation.  Social media optimization should definitely be considered to help repair damage that has occurred due to an incident similar to CNN’s. The top online management company Centel Media, assists clients in gathering or regaining those likes and/or followers on social media sites.
It is extremely important to utilize everything that Facebook and Twitter have to offer in regards to making your presence known in the social media world. Centel Media can make sure that your presence is not only a big one but a positive one as well. A lot of businesses underhandedly attempt to expand their social media sites by buying those likes and followers. However, our team of web experts get the same results for their clients but in a way that will represent their brand respectfully and honestly. So if the army comes at you, make sure you have Centel Media to fall back on.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Centel Media, www.centelmedia.com, centelmedia.com Online Reputation Management, Online Reputation Repair, Remove Rip Off Reports, MLK Day
Martin Luther King Jr. was an American clergyman, activist, and leader in the African American Civil Rights Movement. He is best known for his role in the advancement of civil rights and his use of nonviolent civil disobedience. King has become a national icon in the history of America progressivism.

A Baptist minister, King became a civil rights activist early in his career. He led the1955 Montgomery Bus Boycott and helped found the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) in 1957, serving as its first president. With the SCLC, King led an unsuccessful struggle against segregation in Albany,
Georgia, in 1962, and organized nonviolent protests in Birmingham, Alabama, that attracted

national attention following television news coverage of the brutal police response. King also helped to organize the 1963 March on Washington, where he delivered his "I Have A Dream" speech. There, he established his reputation as one of the greatest orators in American history. He also established his reputation as a radical, and became an object of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's COINTELPRO for the rest of his life. FBI agents investigated him for possible communist ties, recorded his extramarital liaisons and reported on them to government officials, and on one occasion, mailed King a threatening anonymous letter that he interpreted as an attempt to make him commit suicide.

On October 14, 1964, King received the Nobel Peace Prize for combating racial
inequality through nonviolence. In 1965, he and the SCLC helped to organize the Selma to Montgomery marches, and the following year, he took the movement north to Chicago. In the final years of his life, King expanded his focus to include poverty and the Vietnam War, alienating many of his liberal allies with a 1967 speech titled "Beyond Vietnam". King was planning a national occupation of Washington, D.C., called the Poor People’s Campaign. King was assassinated on April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee. His death was followed by riots in many U.S. cities. Allegations that James Earl Ray, the man convicted of killing King, had been framed or acted in concert with government agents persisted for decades after the shooting, and the jury of a 1999 civil trial found Loyd Jowers to be complicit in a conspiracy against King.

King was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Gold Metal
posthumously. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day was established as a U.S. Federal Holiday in 1986. Hundreds of streets in the U.S. have been renamed in his honor. A memorial statue on the National Mall was opened to the public in 2011.

Twitter Tantrums Brand LaBeouf a Diva

Centel Media, www.centelmedia.com, centelmedia.com Online Reputation Management, Online Reputation Repair, Remove Rip Off Reports
Plagiarism is never a good thing. Ask any eighth grader who has written a research paper or talk to Shia LaBeouf, who recently wrote and directed a film called HowardCantour.com, which was a short film about an online film critic of the same name. LaBeouf was accused of copying the works of writer and cartoonist Daniel Clowes. While Clowes himself doesn't seem to have taken any offense to LaBeouf's film, the Internet has made itself a champion for the protection of his intellectual property by calling for LaBeouf's apology. However, although LaBeouf has apologized and continues to do so, lately his comments to his Twitter followers have been mocking and satirical. He even arranged for a plane to write Clowes an apology with its exhaust. LaBeouf is fueling negative criticism of himself and his film by not letting go of the issue.

LaBeouf admitted to the guilt of plagiarizing, but both he and the 'Twitterverse' can't seem to leave the situation alone. His post-apology replies have all been plagiarized themselves from other notable acts of contrition by fellow actors, politicians, and even the CEO of Facebook. That makes LaBeouf an Internet troll, which is someone online who promotes antagonistic behavior for personal enjoyment. This may make him look like a punk except for the fact that he originally tried to genuinely apologize. Perhaps this was a publicity stunt, but if it was, it has backfired. He let his emotions get the better of him, destroyed his own online reputation on Twitter, and alienated legions of fans.

While LaBeouf seems to be trying to make amends now, what he's done has been a disaster PR wise. Online reputations are not things to be taken lightly by anyone, be it a company or an individual. One day information like this could come back and bite him where the sun don't shine, and farther along in his career LaBeouf will regret both his plagiarism and this whole fiasco with Twitter. Yes, his critics were a major part of pushing him over the edge, but he did admit he was at fault for the plagiarism and he should learn from this mistake.

If LaBeouf hopes to rebound from these difficulties, one of the first steps he should consider is online reputation management. And this does not apply only to him: if you have been wronged by critics or are seeking to recover from an embarrassing fall and want to get back on your feet on a positive note online, consider the utilization of Centel Media™'s services. We are the premiere online reputation management firm and specialize in dealing with criticism. Not only do we have products which suppress negative articles, images, reviews, and video, but we also write press releases which are aimed at restoring your reputation through positive reinforcement. We'll also help to prevent this from ever happening again by showing you what it takes to maintain a good reputation. Don't let a nightmare like LaBeouf's situation stop you from reaching your dreams.

Snapchat's Reputation Disappears Faster than Its Photos

Centel Media, www.centelmedia.com, centelmedia.com Online Reputation Management, Online Reputation Repair, Remove Rip Off Reports
What is one of the biggest goals for any one business in this global market? To thrive and advance in this technologically and economically spinning world. This requires attention to name and brand.  The more successful you are, the more quickly your rivals will try to discredit you. Ask Evan Spiegal and Bobby Murphy, the creative geniuses behind Snapchat. Overnight they have gone from ‘friendly nerds who made it big’ to ‘greedy ingrates who left consumers to hang.’

Snapchat is a photomessaging app that allows users to take a picture or record a video and send their creation to anyone
on a personal list of recipients. The difference between Snapchat and other photo apps, however, is that the user sets a limit for how long the ‘snap’ can be viewed by the recipient, usually between one and ten seconds.  Once the brief time is up, the photo is no longer viewable on the recipient’s device, and Snapchat deletes the picture from its servers. This freedom to send information that supposedly disappears and escapes the fearsome “once it’s on the web it never goes away” mantra immediately gained popularity with the 15-25 age group, and later gained earned even more with the over 30’s.

The minds behind the Snapchat app, CEO Evan Spiegel and tech expert Bobby Murphy, are certainly thriving and advancing. The Snapchat “revolution,” as some have coined it, has taken off. Now worth $2 billion with $100 million invested in its future growth, the Snapchat brand and reputation has unlimited potential.
Or rather, had unlimited potential.

Snapchat is reeling from the revelation that 4.6 million phone numbers and user names may have been taken from their databases and published online because of their poor data security procedures. Worse yet, accusers claim Spiegel was told last week about flaws in the security and did little or nothing to fix them. Maybe he thought his company was invincible to a cyber attack, or maybe he was too busy holiday shopping with his millions. His betrayed consumers don’t know and don’t care. Snapchat’s image as a fun, customer-oriented company with a friendly app has disappeared overnight, and it is faced with the daunting task of trying to repair its image with millions of angry customers.

Understanding your market and targeting an audience is essential in selling products and building your name. Protecting your name and maintaining credibility even in difficult times requires expert assistance. Centel Media™, the leading online reputation management firm, takes on the responsibility of helping big businesses and small companies brand themselves and maintain a strong positive image online. Centel Media™ invests in the reputation of its clients, so your reputation won’t disappear in less than ten seconds.
